FAQs
1. What Airport do I fly into?
Guests should book flights to Mérida International Airport (MID), the largest and most convenient airport in Yucatán and the closest to all wedding events.

Hacienda Santa Cruz: ~15-minutes from MID.

Hyatt Regency Mérida: ~30-minutes from MID.
2. Do I need a visa?
U.S., Canadian, and most European citizens do not need a visa for short-term tourism. You will simply need a valid passport with at least six months of validity from your arrival date.

Mexico does not require a visa if you hold a valid U.S., UK, Canadian, or Japanese visa (must be valid for the entirety of your trip).

If you do not hold one of those visas, you will need to apply for a Mexican Tourist Visa and complete the Forma Migratoria Múltiple (FMM) upon arrival.

Australian citizens do not need a visa for stays under 180 days.

Indian citizens typically need a visa unless they hold one of the visas listed above.

We recommend checking with your local Mexican consulate for the most up-to-date requirements based on your citizenship.
3. When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving on Wednesday, June 17, when our guest accomodation room blocks open.
While our first official events begin on Thursday, June 18, arriving Wednesday gives you a comfortable buffer, time to settle in, and the opportunity to enjoy Mérida or take an excursion before the celebrations begin.
4. When should I depart?

You are welcome to extend your stay and explore more of Mérida, but our official wedding events conclude late Saturday night. Most guests will likely depart on Sunday, June 21, though staying longer is encouraged if your schedule allows.
5. Where should I stay?

We have secured room blocks at: Hacienda Santa Cruz & Hyatt Regency Mérida. Please visit the Travel & Accommodation tab on our website for booking links and details.
6. Will transportation be provided to and from the events?

Yes! Shuttle transportation will be provided for all official wedding events throughout the weekend.

If you are staying at Hacienda Santa Cruz or the Hyatt Regency, you will receive detailed instructions and pickup times so you can easily enjoy every celebration without worrying about logistics.

Private taxis or car services are also available if you prefer, but they will incur an additional cost and should be booked in advance. For ease, we recommend using our provided shuttles.

Please see the Travel & Accommodations tab for recommended private transport companies offering guest discount, if preferred, for all official wedding events and for traveling around Mérida.
7. Are children invited?

Children are welcomed at all events except the American ceremony and reception, which will be adults-only.
8. Do I get a plus one?

Plus ones are included only if explicitly indicated on your invitation. If you’re unsure or need clarification, please reach out to us directly - we’re happy to help.

9. Will there be a gift registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! Because we are traveling internationally for our celebration, we kindly ask that no physical gifts be brought to the venue, as we won't be able to safely transport them back home.
If you would still like to honor us with a gift, we have curated a selection of items we love [Link Here]. We also have a "contribute what you wish" fund [Link Here] for those who prefer that option. Thank you for understanding!
